Laura Greaca​

She's working with fabric which in her hands becomes the most suitable way to express profound feelings and even powerful ideas and concepts inspired by recent history, political and social events, and also from her sheer imagination. She claims that textile is the most intimate material which accompanies us every day, touching our skin and sharing our deepest emotions.

Her most recent artistic obsession is the theme of butterflies which she exploited for two years, ending with a 100 textile butterflies and moths installation exhibited in a lot of museums and galleries in Bucharest.
